Summer Camp Details

DATES 

June 3rd - July 26th (no camp on July 4th)

Single days or full session available

HOURS

Camp Day: 9:30am to 3:30pm
Before Care: 8:00am to 9:30am
After Care: 3:30pm to 6:00pm

There will be eight weeks of Summer Camp. You can enroll for single days, individual weeks, or the full session. You may also enroll in optional Before Care and After Care add-ons for single days or the full session.

PRICING

Camp Day - $75 per single day registration, $325 for the full week
Before Care - $10.00 per day with advance registration, $15.00 per hour rounded to the nearest half-hour for drop-in
After Care - $15.00 per day with advance registration, $15.00 per hour rounded to the nearest half-hour for drop-in

ACTIVITIES

Dance, drama, arts & crafts, games and outdoor activities for ages 5 to 12 year olds.

MEMBER DISCOUNTS

Your family may be eligible for free camp days based on you membership points balance. Please contact us with the camp day(s) you would like to redeem for points BEFORE registering for camp so that we may verify your eligibility. Once you have verification from us, enroll your child in the agreed Camp sesison and the discount will be applied automatically. NOTE: If you cancel your membership before your camp enrollment begins, your discount will be void and we will notify you of the balance due.

VOLUME DISCOUNTS

Enroll in four weeks of any combination of Spring and Summer Camp, and pay for only three weeks! All four weeks must be purchased together to receive the volume discount.

Enroll in nine weeks of any combination of Spring and Summer Camp, and pay for only seven weeks! All seven weeks must be purchased together to receive the volume discount.

Volume Discounts may not be combined with Member or Sibling Discounts.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS

10% sibling discount are available when you register a second or third child for the Spring Camp session. This discount applies to 2nd and subsequent children. Sibling discounts cannot be combined with Volume Discounts or Member Discounts.

Camp Policies

Class or Camp Changes
A $15 bookkeeping fee will be applied to any changes of class or camp weeks unless the switch is at the teacher's request. Pre-paid before and after care can be switched to another week with the $15 bookkeeping fee. 72 hours notice must be given for switching classes, camp weeks and before and after care. These fees may be waived if prior arrangements have been made with the Director.

Tuition Policies
Tuition is non-refundable. With a documented medical emergency, your account will be credited minus a $15 bookkeeping fee.. Notice must be given to EBDC prior to missed camp. Request for credit must be in writing with documentation.

Late Registration
We work to keep camp accessible by minimizing our costs. When a camper is registered late (less than 48 hours before the beginning of the camp week), this increases our staffing costs. Please help us keep camp affordable by registering on or before Friday of the week before camp starts. If you are unable to do this, we will charge you a 10% late fee. Thank you for understanding.

Additional Camp Days
You always have the option to add additional days to your existing camp enrollment.  Please note that you may only add days to an existing camp enrollement via your Parent Portal or by contacting us directly.  If you add additional days to camp week that is already in progress (the 'camp week' starts the Saturday before), that additional enrollment will be subject to the 10% late registration fee.

Before/After Care Policies

• 24 hour pre-registration and a valid credit or debit card on file is required to register for before/after care. 
• Emergency or drop in before or after care charged at $15/hour. Card on file will be charged that day.

What do I do now that my child is registered?

• You will receive a confirmation email with details about this camp session.
• Complete the Camp Emergency form.  This is how we gather important information in the unlikely event of an emergency during your camp session.
• Our caring, professional staff has many years of dance and teaching experience. We are sure your child will have wonderful time with us. Please contact us for further information.

Camp Director

The Camp Director, Bonnie Sita, is Director of the East Bay Dance Center, holds a degree in Educational Psychology and has been teaching and directing young people's dance since 1975.
