Our Mission Statement: To expose students to dance as performance art through a combination of training and public performances.  The students attain confidence and life skills and the performances enrich and educate the community at large.

At the East Bay Dance Center we believe:

• Dance is the most ancient form of communication and it builds community
• Dance is vital to the social, emotional, and physical well-being of all people, regardless of age, gender or background
• All children love to dance and, if encouraged, will continue to love and learn
• Dance helps kids with their academics and life skills including team work, confidence, organization, discipline and creative thinking
• Dance creates a safe and inclusive space for all families and children
• Mentoring and leading by example creates excellent dance skills and excellent character
• In being a beacon of light for our entire community
